Viteyes AREDS 2 Classic Formula (3 mo. supply per bottle)

Viteyes® AREDS 2 comes in a 180 capsule (3 month supply) bottle. Viteyes aims to create high levels of nutrient purity and potency, and so therefore manufactures their formulation using only the highest quality ingredients.

About AREDS 2:*
The AREDS 2 study was completed in 2013, It was a 5-year nationwide following the AREDS I study completed in 2001, both studies sponsored by the National Eye Institute (NEI). In both studies, a specific combination of nutrients was found to help slow down the progression of AMD, with the AREDS 2 study resulting in a recommended revision of the original AREDS I formula.

Other ingredients: Gelatin, dicalcium phosphate, cellulose, talc, magnesium stearate, silica and calcium silicate. Contains Fish (cod, pollock, haddock, hake, cusk, redfish, sole & flounder).

The result of the AREDS 2 study was to add lutein and zeaxanthin to the formula, while removing the betacarotene.
