What’s In our Advanced Eye & Vision Support Formula ?

  • The most complete eye protection formula ever conceived in quality, quantity and synergy*
  • Broad-spectrum antioxidant defenders, capable of quenching every known free radical, both ROS (reactive oxygen species) and RNS (reactive nitrogen species)*
  • Therapeutic amount of zeaxanthin (6 mg / Vcap) the most powerful carotenoid for eye protection*
  • Therapeutic amount of lutein (3.5 mg/ Vcap), another powerful carotenoid that promotes optimal eye health (marigold source- not synthesized)*
  • Excipient-free: No binders, fillers, glues or other toxic tagalongs as in tablets and gelatin capsules

Our Advanced Eye & Vision Support Formula:

  • Promotes clear vision and healthy eyes, including macula, retina and lens*
  • Supports healthy eye growth, and rejuvenation*
  • Supports the body’s natural detoxification processes with targeted, quality antioxidants for vision*

In 2001, the National Eye Institute completed a large ten-year study— the Age-Related Eye Disease Study (AREDS). AREDS proved that people at high risk of developing advanced stages of AMD lowered their risk by about 25% when treated with certain antioxidant vitamins and minerals.Viteyes® is Formulated to Protect Your Vision The identical AREDS formula—the one recommended by the National Eye Institute is used in Viteyes® AREDS, AREDS Plus Lutein.

Macular Degeneration Related Research

Meso-Zeaxanthin Aids Eyes 2007 Study - a supplement of meso-zeaxanthin may bolster macular pigment optical density (MPOD), according to researchers from Florida International University (Nutr Metab. 2007;4:12) (DOI:10.1186/1743-7075-4-12). Lutein and zeaxanthin have been the primary focus of research trials exploring how the xanthophyll carotenoids can support macular pigment and possibly prevent onset of age-related macular degeneration (AMD). Meso-zeaxanthin is the third major carotenoid found in macular pigment.

Meso-Zeaxanthin Deficiency Confirmed in Macular Degeneration 2003 Study This postmortem study helped confirm other studies indicating the importance of all three carotenoids (lutein, zeaxanthin, and meso-zeaxanthin) in maintaining the structural integrity of the macula. Lutein, Zeaxanthin and AMD (Study 2008)
The study concluded that the higher dietary lutein and zeaxanthin intake reduced the risk of long-term incident AMD.

Lutein and Prevention of Macular Degeneration (Study 1994)
Study: Lutein and Prevention of Macular Degeneration
The results of the study found that the highest correlation of disease prevention was associated with an intake of 6 mg per day of lutein, -which led to a 57% decrease in the risk of contracting AMD.

Study: Zeaxanthin Supplementation Can Improve Visual Acuity for those with Macular Degeneration (2010 Study)
Study shows supplementing with zeaxanthin (a carotenoid in the lutein family) can raises macula pigment optical density (MP) and has unique visual benefits for patients with atrophic early AMD having visual symptoms.

Zeaxanthin Can Reduce Chances of AMD 79% (2006 study)
The authors reported a significant (50%) reduced risk of early or late AMD in subjects with high plasma zeaxanthin (>0.05ìM), compared with subjects with low levels (<0.03ì).
